The 2nd Annual BWR Women of Power National Summit will engage women and girls on health and wellness, technology, S.T.E.M., economic opportunity, financial literacy, violence prevention, social innovation, government contracting and global empowerment. Highlights of the summit include: BWR Global Women & Girls Luncheon honoring business leaders featuring ESSENCE editor emeritus, Susan L. Taylor; BWR Faith and Social Justice Prayer Breakfast honoring faith and labor leaders. Dr. Suzan Johnson Cook, Ambassador-At-Large for International Religious Freedom, U. S. Department is the invited speaker for prayer breakfast; BWR Day on Capitol Hill; Briefing with Obama Administration Officials; Health Fair & Mini-Expo; Love You More Health Walks, Tech Camp for girls and much more!
