Washington, DC- Melanie L. Campbell, president & CEO, National Coalition on Black Civic Participation and Convener, Black Women’s Roundtable issued the following statement regarding Verizon’s commitment to diversity:

“The National Coalition on Black Civic Participation and its Black Women’s Roundtable commends Verizon for its commitment to diversity by providing affordable opportunity for 11 minority and women-owned businesses and 2 service-disabled veteran businesses to purchase retail notes in its $500 Billion sale it recently offered on the NYSE.
